Over the past 20+ years, I have had an on again off again interest in photography. In 2001 the stars converged combining my retirement and the advances in digital SLR equipment and I was able to develop my interest in a more deliberate way.

Photography has added another dimension to my wife and my other love, travel. The images in this gallery are evidence of this and I think they show how photography can enhance the travel experience.

In the end, however, I think photography can be a wonderfully creative outlet for those of us with otherwise limited artistic abilities. I find I am limited only by patience and practice; both of which I could use more.
